The North Augusta Artists Guild (NAAG) Visual Arts Scholarship ($500) is awarded annually to a graduating senior who is considering a college degree in the arts. The NAAG was initiated in 2002 as a group of local citizens who support artists and art organizations by sponsoring projects that enhance the arts in the North Augusta community as well as in the CSRA.
The Visual Arts Scholarship is funded by the members of NAAG.
The scholarship applicant must reside in North Augusta, have a North Augusta Address, and attend at either Fox Creek, Strom Thurmond, North Augusta High School (public, private, charter, or home school). He/she must demonstrate excellence in the visual arts. Eligible applicants must intend to enroll in an accredited college, university, or other institutions of formal education in the fall of 2013.
All applications are reviewed by a Scholarship Committee that is comprised of members of NAAG.
