NACAC Fine Arts Scholarship
The North Augusta Cultural Arts Council (NACAC) initiated the Fine Arts Scholarship in 2008 and awards annually to a graduating high school senior. The Scholarship assists the continuing education of artistically gifted students and is funded by PowerServe and the NACAC.

The Scholarship applicant must reside in the Aiken County Area II School District and attend high school (public, private, charter, or home school). He or she must demonstrate excellence in an art form. Eligible applicants must intend to enroll in an accredited college, university, or other institution of formal education in the fall of 2013 to pursue continued training in the respective art discipline.

All applications are reviewed by a Scholarship Panel which is comprised of members of the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council Board of Directors. Demonstrated talent is the primary criterion for selection.

Application deadline is Friday, March 31, 2013. The Fine Arts Scholarship winner will be announced in May during a Music in the Park Concert. Scholarship applicants are invited to attend this May concert.

Application assistance is available by contacting Mr. Ken Smith, Executive Director of NACAC, at (803) 442-7588.
