| The North Augusta Student Art Show, May 3 |
The annual North Augusta Student Art Show sponsored by NACAC will be held Friday, May 3rd. The Art Show and Reception will be from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Arts and Heritage Center in the Municipal Building on Georgia Avenue. This event is free to the public.
The Student Art Show showcases 2D and 3D artwork from the North Augusta Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. The schools represented are Belvedere Elementary, Hammond Hills Elementary, Mossy Creek Elementary, North Augusta Elementary, Paul Knox Middle School, North Augusta Middle, and North Augusta High School. Judging of the artwork will be by members of the North Augusta Artist Guild and awards will be given to Best of Show and the first place winners in each age group. The Award Ceremony will be held at 6:30pm.
This is a community event and everyone is encouraged to come and view all the artistic talent of our North Augusta students. The artwork will remain in the gallery until May 17th. Light refreshments will be offered.
